- Following BMW diagnostic procedures, the first step was to update the engine control module (DME) software to the latest BMW factory calibration. Manufacturers periodically release software updates to improve how the control module monitors and operates emissions systems. Updating the software ensures the vehicle is operating with the most current programming and allows us to confirm whether the fault was caused by outdated calibration or an actual component issue.
- Complete vehicle inspection and advisement regarding current maintenance & servicesrepairs that may be required. Prescan modules -reset service for next interval
- Brake system inspection ( brake linings, hardware & fluid )
- All system fluids inspection ( in some occasions fluid is not accessible and we will advise regarding maintenance requirements and current mileage and vehicle history)
- Alignment evaluation to ensure geometry of suspension is to specification and not slowly wearing tires prematurely.
- Complete vehicle evaluation for services and repairs that may be duerequired at this time. Replace aged engine oil and oil filter. Reset oil life monitoring system.
