- Research data and investigate technical service bulletins for the latest in problematic faults for the specific failure present . Identify any updated repairand or parts for the faults present
- Retrieve data for resulting vehicle systems that have current failures that are causing the check engine light to illuminate. Test and verify to isolate failures -In some occasions additional deeper test time will be required depending on the systems flow chart test time to investigate what is the root cause . PERFORMED SYSTEM SCAN, FOUND P2127 ACCELERATION POSITION SENSOR 2 LOW VOLTAGE AND P2138 ACCELERATION PEDAL POSITION SENSOR 1/2 CORRELATION. MIL IS NOT ON CURRENTLY AND APP/TPS SENSORS READING NORMALLY. TSB#07-06-04-019F IS OUT FOR THIS CONCERN. WILL NEED ADDITIONAL TIME FOR TEAR DOWN AND INSPECTION FOR WATER INTRUSION AND TESTING HARNESS CONNECTORS FOR CORROSION AND POOR CONNECTIVITY.
